With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Harjit has worked in music education professionally for over 27 years. Through his teaching of traditional Indian music, Harjit has introduced the Folk Music of Panjab to countless schools and communities across the Midlands.

"My role has always been with the Music Service in Birmingham and Wolverhampton. Many, many students have learnt through the system and taken grades in World Music."
Founder of the well-established 'Azaad Dhol Group' that has performed at the Music for Youth Proms, at the Royal Albert (on two occasions) and many performances all over the country.

The Azaad Dhol Group has performed all over the UK, including two dates at the Royal Albert Hall for the prestigious 'Music for Youth Proms' event.
