Festival of Light – Black Country Living Museum

On the 11th November, students from the Bhangra Fusion Percussion Ensemble took part in an event held at the Black Country Living Museum. The event consisted of a colourful parade of handmade lanterns (led by the Dhol players) to allow visitors to experience the joy and wonder of Diwali. The students performed very well and demonstrated a great ‘team attitude’ by playing together and for a considerable amount of time (over 40 minutes). Students from both the ‘Intermediate’ and ‘Advanced’ level groups took part and their parents also joined in with the festivities.
